Busy Weekend

Had fun watching Cruz in his second Lacrosse game.  It was kind of windy and sprinkling but still had fun. Shawn is a co-coach and it is great the boys are learning the sport together!!

 It is a 1st and 2nd grade team.  Some of the 2nd graders are really good, but granted they have played the sport a year longer and are generally bigger.

 After the game I dropped Lexi off at Grammy's house so she could take a nap and Shawn, Cruz, Alegra, and I went up to Snowbird to ski.  We stayed together for a few runs and then Alegra and I headed over to Chickadee.  Love that the kids LOVE to ski!

 That night grammy took us to dinner at Cowboy Grub.  It is kind of a Salt Lake institution and they are closing their doors, but we found out that night they are opening up somewhere else. It is kind of like dinner food/old traditional food, I thought it was pretty yummy but I was starving. We buy "Cowboy grub" baked goods at the store and love them too!

 After Sunday dinner and dessert, Lexi loves sugar and CHOCOLATE!! Downed some Whatchamakalits, but just the top chocolate part, and left it on her face to tell about it!

 Enjoyed listening to conference this weekend. Some highlighted talks were one on gratitude and one on this is our 4 minutes (talking about the Olympians).  LOVED both of those talks and many more.  Also LOVED Cruz's prayer at dinner on Sunday night thanking Heavenly Father for "parent teacher conferences".  Too cute!
