STA-CATION DAY #2

We packed it in today (not on purpose).  We went to the Natural History Museum this morning. We got there at about 10:15 right after it opened.  Unfortunately it was crowded with field trip kids, but it was still fun. I had not been there before but Cruz had.  I thought it was interesting but not my favorite museum.  I didn't realize how close we were to "This is the Place" and that was something else we wanted to do on the list because they have their baby animals right now.  We decided to eat a small bite at the museum (not good food, don't recommend that place) (should have packed our lunch but I wasn't planning a whole day adventure) and then we went over to "This Is the Place". I thought we would only stay there an hour but 2.5 hours later, we left.  Lexi was doing great so I made a decision she was not going to have her nap today.  We had fun holding baby chicks, eating donuts, pounding leather, riding the trains, panning for gold, and walking around.  I am worked tonight (so are the kids) but it was fun!
