We wanted to get up to Idaho one more time for a bit longer than just a weekend before school started. The kids and I and Grammy took off last Tuesday after Alegra had her dance and gymnastics class. We drove the truck so we could take the boat out. We made it to Idaho Falls for dinner at a pretty yummy Mexican food place. We also had to have a snow cone too! On Wednesday we decided to get up and go to Heise Hot Springs. We got there pretty early and we were literally the first people there. We were glad we went when we did though because the clouds rolled in at about 2 and it stormed, so we left. On Thursday it was a partly cloudy day so we decided to go over to Jackson Hole. Cruz had a bit of a melt down over a lego set I wouldn't buy him so that soured the day a bit but luckily we found a park before we left to cheer everyone up. Shawn came into town that night on the Salt Lake Express and we picked him up in the rain (since we were a few minutes late) he started walking from the square ice cream gas station (where he got dropped off). On Friday we really packed it in. We went horse back riding at Granite Springs Ranch in the morning. Cruz was the only one old enough to go on a real ride with Shawn and I. We went for an hour ride. Alegra rode a bit but Lexi didn't want to go on the horse. We then drove over to some sand dunes we had heard about near Rexburg. We had trailered the ATV's out there. They were interesting. Kind of fun but not something I would want to do all the time. The girls had more fun in the lake and rolling around in the sand that was in the area. On Saturday Shawn rode 110 miles to Jackson, down the Hoback, and then around Palisades to get back home. Swan Valley was having "Art in the Park" so Grammy and the kids and I went to that in the morning. When Shawn got back we took the boat out. Cruz did get up on waterski's but he was mad and really wouldn't try or do it again. Sunday we went to church and then cleaned up. Our time up there always seems to go too fast. It seems just so relaxing up there, I love it!
One of the many pretty sunsets!!
Cruz had some sort of reaction while on his horse, his eye swelled up and his face got a bit blotchy!!
Our view from our horseback ride!
Going from one adventure to another and having fun!
Lexi collecting rocks, even if they are everywhere!!
SATURDAY BOAT TIME!!!
The water was a bit chilly but even Lexi jumped in!!
I thought this was a cool creating Cruz made on Sunday in about 2 minutes!
Our stop for snow cones on our drive in to Idaho Falls on Tuesday!
This series of pictures is hilarious to me. Alegra was having a totally conversation with a pretend friend while I was snapping away.
Wednesday night we went to dinner at the South Fork Grill in Swan Valley, the kids had fun playing pool!
Saw this sign in Jackson Hole on Thursday and had to take a picture and send it to Uncle David Jackson!
I took this picture after the horseback ride on Friday on the car ride over to the Sand Dunes when Cruz got a bloody nose somehow. He was like, "This is the BEST/WORST day EVER!"""
