A SURPRISE UNPLANNED TRIP TO LA

Thursday morning Naomi called me to see what we were doing this weekend.  We really didn't have too much going on....then she said, "wanna come to LA?"  I was like, "yes!"  So after a few phone calls we had a trip planned for all 5 of us to go to LA leaving the next day (Friday afternoon) and returning Sunday night!

 Ryan was coming in Friday night from San Francisco and then leaving Saturday morning for Hawaii and returning Sunday afternoon.  They had some VIP people going and Naomi wanted to spend some time with Ryan so she was trying to find someone to watch her girls. The normal people were all busy and then she thought of us.  Our kids really like playing together.  We arrived at about 4:00 Friday evening.  Naomi picked us up at the  airport and then we picked up pizza to take home.  The sunset was amazing as we drove along PCH to get home.  After Ryan got home Shawn and Ryan took the kids to ice skate while Naomi and I went to a jewelry party Katie happen to be hosting that night.  Arlene was around at the house till 11 so I was able to put Lexi down before we left and Arlene watched her.  It was fun to hang out with Ryan and Naomi a bit before they left. We saw there house plans and were able to chat for a bit.  They got up early Saturday morning to catch their flight.

 Saturday morning Sasha had a soccer game.  It was a good game and super nice weather.....like 80 degrees!!  After the game they had 2 friends come help with the kids camp that they kids all participated in at the house.

 One of the activities at kids camp was swimming in the pool!!

 These 2 are bosom buddies! About 2 the friends parents came and then we headed for the beach.  It was an amazing afternoon!

We came home and got cleaned up and did nails while the boys picked up some food to bring home.  We had fun playing, dancing, and watching tv.  On Sunday we went to church and then played at the house. The kids had fun swimming and playing on the trampoline.  I love that they can all hang out and play together.  Ryan and Naomi got home about 3:15 and then we called a taxi at about 3:45.  It all worked out perfectly. The flights were on time.  There were no problems. The kids played well.  We had amazing weather.  It was a pretty amazing UNPLANNED weekend!!!
