Quick Trip to Moab

Shawn's parents came in on Friday afternoon.  Shawn picked them up from the airport and brought them home.  Shawn and I had talked about going to Moab to bike for the weekend.  We woke up Saturday morning to snow.  I was a little leary of going.  I knew it was going to be warmer in Moab but I wasn't sure HOW much warmer.  We decided to go and we had a great time.  We drove right to the ride Shawn wanted to do.  We ended up riding from 1:30 to 5:30.  We were on the Sovereign trail and we had a hard time finding the single track, but we did eventually find it.  The riding was fun and a little tough and luckily (with me saying a few prayers) we made it to the truck right at dark!!

We just got a cheap room in Moab and went to Mexican for dinner and then slept in. We got breakfast at a cute cafe and then hiked (1.5 miles) to the Corona Arch before heading home.  It was a fun little get away for us!!
