The Aquarium

Cruz had the day off of school today and we haven't been to the aquarium in a while.  Grammy had never been there, so we all went to the Aquarium this morning.  It was so much fun!!  We had a great time and then went to Sweet Tomatoes (Cruz's favorite right now) for lunch.  We had to drop off Alegra at school, she was a bit late, but not too bad (it was worth it for the fun).

 Lexi loves playing with all the babies, and she loves to pretend play all by herself.  She really can keep herself playing and busy for hours, the only thing is, she likes to pull out every toy in all rooms to play, which I like because she is being super creative, but then we have a big mess!

 Alegra made a really nice card for Sam Anderson in our ward. Her daughter Toni passed away last week (the daughter had lived 33 almost 34 years with Cerebral Paulsy). The kids knew Toni pretty well because she helped her mom by smiling in the primary if the kids passed off their songs, Sam was the music leader.  Toni could not walk or talk.

Idaho -Valentines/Presidents Day Weekend!

We had a great time up in Idaho this weekend.  On Saturday we went up to Grand Targhee to ski for the day. Unfortunately Grammy had cataract surgery on Thursday and during her follow up appointment on Friday the doctor laughed when she said she was going skiing on Saturday.  She is not allowed to ski for 3 weeks, so she didn't get to ski.  She did play with Lexi in the lodge though, which was helpful.  Lexi skied on the magic carpet a few times but that was about it for her.  Alegra is skiing great and even went on the lift that goes to the top of the mountain and she totally made it down. Cruz is really skiing well too. He can pretty much go anywhere we go. It was such a fun ski day!

We stopped at the grocery store in Driggs on the way home and picked up pizza to take home after our long ski day.  This was the amazing sunset on the drive home!

 On Sunday we went to church and then hung out around the cabin, played, spent time together, and had Bert, Tasha, and Avi over for dinner!

Valentines Party!

On Friday the 13th the kids celebrated Valentines day at school. Our neighbor, Colby, had a neighborhood Valentine Party during the day for some of the moms with young children. She outdid herself and the party was fun and great!  We left the party a bit early to take Alegra to school and then Lexi and I went over to Cruz's school to help out with his Valentines Party.  I LOVE Valentines Day!! I think the kids had a great day.  It was a crazy day because once we got home from school we basically left to get Grammy and Alegra (grammy picked up Alegra from school to help me) and then we picked up Shawn from work and headed up to Idaho.

Park Days

Another beautiful day to play at the park before Cruz finished up at his Mad Science after school program!

 Summer and Matt met us at the school park too.  Tyler is in Kindergarten and he is in the same Mad Science after school program with Cruz.  They all had fun playing at the park!

Ryan at the Grammy's

Ryan was nominated again for a grammy this year but didn't win. The exciting thing, is that it was his 3rd year for a nomination!  Naomi sent this picture out with Ryan in the audience.
