Zoo morning!

We went to the zoo this morning, trying to go before it got too hot!  We did pretty good, but it got hot fast.  We went to the bird show before we left though, and that is always cool!

 Alegra was REALLY into posing at the zoo. I think she was because last time we took her little friend Hudsen, and that girl wanted about 100 pictures of herself on every statue-Alegra took some clues, I guess....hopefully in moderation !!!

 We came home from the zoo and the kiddos had a quick bite to eat and then I dropped them off at Kids Camp.  I met my mom for lunch, and I think it was the first lunch I have had with her in a long time that I didn't have a child with me. It was a happy/sad realization!!!  But a nice break!!  After kids camp our friends that live in the same area as Russ and Ali invited us over to swim.
