Mother's Day 2022

I had a really nice Mother's Day weekend.  Cruz and I participated in a pre-FSY service project in West Valley on Saturday morning.  It was nice to spend time with him.  We left the activity early to get home to take the girls to their soccer games.  Unfortunately, the girls both had soccer games at the same time so we had to divide and conquer.  Shawn took Lexi and I took Alegra.  The girls both won their games.  Later that night the girls and I went to a high school girls club game that was insane.  It was fun to watch these girls play.  On Sunday we all went to church as a family. That was really nice and I thought Sacrament meeting had a very special spirit.  Lexi sang Mother's Day songs with primary.  Shawn was a super hero this weekend and cleaned the house, mowed and weeded the yard, washed my car, and lots of other little tasks.  I was able to take a nap on Sunday and then grammy made Sunday dinner for the whole gang.  It was such a nice Mother's Day. The girls put on a "pirate treasure hunt" for me with lots of presents at each clue.  Lexi and Shawn had shopped on Saturday.  I LOVE being a mom.  It isn't easy but I am so grateful for this opportunity to be the Mother to these 3 special people.  I will always be forever grateful to be a mom!!!

Sunday Dinner - grammy puts on an amazing spread!
