2nd grade field trip to the zoo

 Alegra was so excited for me to go on the field trip.  It is the first field trip I have gone on with her because they don't let you bring siblings.  Luckily me neighbor Carrie was available to watch Lexi when she got off the bus (Its Monday so Grammy is down at the Joseph Smith Building doing her shift today).  I first got to see the chicks they are raising in Alegra's class.  She really wants Shawn to build a chicken coop so she can bring one home.  I don't think it is going to happen in a week and a half (by the time school gets out :)).

 In my group we had Alegra, Noah, Zane, and Powell.  Zane has down syndrome and Powell has some special needs.  Their teachers aid Miss Hillary stayed with my group which was helpful. I was so impressed by how cute and good Alegra was with Zane.  He really adored her as well.  It was such a fun day at the zoo with Alegra and her group!
