Memorial Day Weekend - Idaho 2018

Mom and I flew in from Chicago at about 8 p.m. Friday evening.  Shawn and the kids picked us up from the airport and we headed straight up to Swan Valley.  Lexi lost her 3rd tooth the first morning we were up there (Saturday). It was so wiggly I just asked her if I could pull it.  She cried for a minute afterwards but then was happy it was out.  :)

 Lexi showing her lost tooth!
Saturday we worked in the yard and then in the afternoon we took the boat out to Big Elk to make sure it was working properly.
It was such a fun filled, emotional, crazy few days prior in Chicago for mom and me that we were tired on Saturday. Our weeding was marginal and we were both kinda dead fish on the boat.

Lexi was the first "crazy" to jump into the lake. It was 51 degrees.  Needless to say, she jumped right back out real quick!!!
Cruz learning to drive the boat.  Sometimes I have to take a double take when I look at him. He is getting so big. :(

When we go to the cabin it is so nice because the kids actually play tougher-whether it be crafts, legos, 4 wheelers, or bikes.  Sometimes they fight, but they definitely bond together more in Idaho.
Grammy and I brought the kids back each something from Chicago. Alegra got a matching "America Girl Doll" shirt for her and her doll, Cruz some cool Cubs Stance Socks, and Lexi a blue Cubs shirt that is super cute.
Saturday night we met up with our friends Stacey, James, Colllete, and Rob.  They were staying at Stacye's parents new purchase in Teton Springs celebrating Stacey's 40th birthday.  It was fun to meet up with them for dinner at Teton Thai in Driggs.  Thanks to grammy for watching our little holligans.
Sunday-went to church and then kinda had a relaxing day around the cabin. Lexi caught her first fish with the help of Brett and Uncle Bud.  It was a cooler, cloudier day and it was so nice to just read and relax.

Cruz even caught a fish-even though one of this big guys broke his line!
Monday- Shawn and I did a long bike ride (35 miles) up to the damn across the river and back to the pullout, and back home Monday morning. The kids and Grammy worked in the yard some more.  We packed up and were on the road by 2:00p.m.   It was a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend.
