Today is Cruz's 11th Birthday. I can't believe my baby is 11. It really seems like yesterday when I think of his delivery story, but 11 quick years have passed. I love this complicated boy of mine so fiercely. He can be the most kind, compassionate, considerate boy around-when he wants to be. He can also be a teaser, give his sisters a hard time, and stubborn-when he wants to be. I love his creativity and curious mind-he knows the most random facts. All he wanted for this birthday was an xbox. We did get it, we will see how that goes.
Cruz had a lacrosse game this morning at 11. After the game we got Costa Vida and a tres leches dessert that he really wanted. Then Manny and Cruz got unlimited screen time at our home until his birthday party time. At 5:30-Jordan, Rex, Andrew, and Jake (and Manny) came over. We had pizza and then went to play battle ball. After battle ball we have been at our house playing basketball, nerf games, and night games. The party is going to wrap up in an hour. He seems to be having so much fun. I sure hope he is!! Love this kid!!!
