At 7:09 a.m. this morning we had a 5.7 earthquake. I was still in bed kinda just resting and it was CRAZY. Shawn was downstairs and came up when it was over. My heart was pounding. I quickly called my mom to check on her. Then Alegra started calling my name so I went and got in bed with her. We said a prayer. There have been 21 aftershocks since and some have been pretty big- like 3. something. To say the least, this is a crazy time in our life right now.
After watching the news for a bit I decided we needed to get up and have as normal of a day as possible with our Coronavirus quarantine. We started the day with Yoga because it is kinda rainy outside. We did a little church devotional and now is journaling time. The schools have reached out to us with online actives for the kids so we will discuss and do those this morning.
Trying to stay positive and look for the blessings and good things in our lives, as we have many. Just trying to have patience and look at this as more time to be with my kids and teach them.
Random together time doing a counting game in the kitchen.
Playing games last night!
