a week in Idaho

For some reason the computer totally loaded these in a weird order but we went to Idaho and had a blast.  Shawn worked from the garage bedroom for Monday through Wednesday in the mornings.  In the afternoons he cleaned out the garage and painted it.  It was a long tough job but he did a great job.  We all tried to help clean up and clear out the garage and Cruz was his special helper but Shawn really worked hard on this project.  We even managed to get to the lake several times during the week.

On Friday we went to the lake from about 10 a.m. till about 4 p.m.  The garage was finally done and we were able to rest and relax.  After the lake we had to return 2 dolly's we rented from Alpine.  They had this ice cream truck that we decided to try!!  Pretty yummy!

BOAT TIME!!!

I am so proud of all the kids.  The girls were getting more confident on the wakeboard.  Cruz was trying some different skills on the surf board.  They all had a fun time on the knee board and Alegra and Cruz both tried to get "standing" on a wakeboard.  They all seemed very adventurous this trip. It didn't hurt that the water was warmer and the outside temperature was close to 90 degrees, so it made it fun to play in the water!

Barefoot boots that Cruz tried.

Lexi's faces were priceless on the knee board!

One morning we went huckleberry picking. Lexi was the best picker!!!

On Tuesday we had to pick up some paint Shawn had ordered from Rexburg. We decided to make a day of it and grabbed to go lunch in Rexburg and then drove through Bear World. I feel bad because Lexi never remembers going here.  So fun to see the bears!!!
