Shawn and Cruz brought the boat down from Idaho the weekend before and so on Wednesday night we left for Paige, Arizona. We had rented an air B&B. We invited Ryan, Naomi, Sasha, and Isla to join us (Mia was in a boarding school at the time) and we weren't sure they were going to until the very last minute. Grammy went down with us and it was SUCH a dreamy weekend. We went out on the water on Thursday. We were all a little nervous because the last time we were at Powell (10 years ago) we hit a rock and had to be rescued.
Ryan and Naomi and the kids flew in on Thursday afternoon. We got off the water and met them at the Air B&B. Then we ran over to watch the sunset at horseshoe bend. So pretty!!
In the morning, Shawn and Cruz went with Ryan in the helicopter on a little sight seeing trip.
Friday we explored Navajo canyon and it was so pretty. It was what I think of when I think of Lake Powell. The water wasn't that smooth, but the scenery was beautiful and it was so fun to be with everyone!
We ate REALLY good take out in Paige. We had really good mexican, barbecue, and burgers.
Walmart was close and Aunt Naomi spoiled the girls!
Saturday, last day on the water, we spend a lot of time on a beach that the kids had fun just running around at. Not as scenic of a spot but easier to get to and from the dock.

On the drive back we stopped quick at the Glen Canyon Damn (that we had crossed to get to one of the marinas.)
We took a more scenic ride home and went though Kanab and Orderville (the little town we stayed in last fall break) and though Brian Head.
