Favorite Photos from Hike Yesterday

Shawn got some of the kids together on his phone, Lexi and I were home sleeping.

 Love this picture because Cruz is hurting Alegra (which he does sometimes and she is kind of laughing , kind of crying) and him looking totally innocent!

I love these 2!  Crazy thing is later this same evening when Alegra was at Russ and Ali's for dinner she started complaining and Shawn decided to take her into insta care.  She had had 2 bad nights before and we both sort of thought ear infection/possible rupture, but when we would ask her in the morning if her ears hurt she would say no (during the night she wouldn't converse, just scream).  Shawn luckily took her in at 8 before the insta care closed and she ended up having a double ear infection.  We got her on Cefdiner, and were able to get it filled at the 24 hour Walgreens in Draper.  Just getting the one dose in her before putting her down made a world of difference.  She slept thru the entire night last night.  I feel so bad that she was in pain, but I don't know why she couldn't recognize it during the day.  We have an appt. with Dr. Kelley on Friday, our ENT, to schedule tube surgery. I am not putting her thru more ear infections.  She needs tubes!!!  We were suppose to get them last spring but she got Croup and then it was so close to summer we thought we would wait, since you don't usually get ear infections in the winter.  I thought and prayed that maybe her own ear canals would grow so she would not get more ear infections, but that isn't the case. First of September and she already has a double ear infection, I think that is my answer we need to get her tubes!
