Wrangling the Troops

So I woke up about 4 am not feeling very well at all.  Alegra had been getting up a lot the last couple of nights so I wasn't sure if I was just sleep deprived or what.  But I was pretty sure I felt like throwing up.  The rest of the night I felt terrible.  Alegra ended up coming in bed with us because she was uncontrollable and she ended up falling asleep next to me until about 9:30 a.m.  I was next to her trying to rest telling myself I was better. The nausea continued though and the more I moved the more I felt like I was going to throw up. Shawn had to take over completely. The strange thing is, I never did throw up but I did have a little diarrhea.  As the day wore on the nausea luckily lessened but the aching and pain got worse.  Shawn had to take completely over. I was sick and I was in bed and he did a great job with the kids. He took them on a hike and then over to Russ and Ali's for dinner.  They had a fun day.  I was so happy I ended up getting this little bug on a Sunday when Shawn could take over. I was so happy to wake up and feel better!!

 I wonder if Lexi is going to be an artist. She loves to get crayons and draw. This is a daily activity for her!
