Cruz and I went to church while dad and the girls stayed home. Lexi took her morning nap and we just weren't sure if Alegra had a flu bug or what. When Cruz and I got home from church Alegra seemed to be feeling alot better. We decided to head up to this park called Trailside in Park City. They have a fun bike course and ramps for kids and adults and a really fun park. The kids had a blast just messing around there. Alegra just learned her peddle bike so she really didn't want to ride the hills, but she is riding amazingly well. Cruz did some pretty crazy stuff. On the way home we stopped at the cemetery to visit Grandpa Raddon's (my dads) grave. I miss him so much!!!
Dad showing Cruz how to ride it!
Loving the playground!
Sweet Legs, glad she is feeling better!
The biking gang + Lexi!
Too hot on the ride!
Missing my dad so much. Five years ago on this weekend (5/26) my dad was diagnosed with CJD, he passed away 2 months to the date of his diagnosis. Terrible 2 months. Wish he was with us but glad he didn't have to suffer like that too long. Grateful for the knowledge that I know he lives on and I will see him and be with him again someday!

Memorial Day Weekend Saturday
We had a fun Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend. Dad and Cruz went up to the "Bird" to get some turns in on Snowbirds last day.
We played outside for a bit when they got home from skiing and worked in the yard. It was beautiful out!
In the late afternoon we went to Willow Creek Country Club. Katie and Clara came into town for Kate's nephews farewell and it Clara joined her because it was her birthday. They had a little celebration at the pool for Clara. All of the Bonnemorts were there and then us and Grammy and Rus and Ali's family. The kids love to swim at that pool!
I don't know if it was drinking too much pool water and then having greasy french fries but Alegra threw up by the pool chairs right before we left. That night and then next day she sat with her bucket like this, funny girl!

Crawling Phase....
Lexi's jammies and clothes are taking a beating during this crawling phase. She really isn't too interested in walking so I think I will just have to get used to holey clothes!!

Fun Day-Alegra learned to ride her bike!
This little 3.5 year old can ride a BIKE!!! Pretty impressive!
Little helper (after riding her bike, helmet still on) helping me feed Lexi!
Swing Time!
Construction Time!
I had to go to the Dentist this afternoon so Ali watched the girls. When I showed up to pick the girls up, Macy was on the front porch holding a sleeping Lexi. I miss that! She doesn't fall asleep in my arms too much anymore, so cute!!
Tonight was Cruz's school Carnival. It was a blast. Georgia and Macy wanted to come with us, which totally saved me. They helped Alegra on on the bounce houses and I was able to hang out with this cutey. Cruz was crazy running around and finding friends. They were pretty warn out tonight. So happy for Macy and Georgia this afternoon! Shawn is in Sacramento with work this week, so it helped to have some helping hands!
Cruz has worked SO HARD on this Lego creating, he is pretty proud of it. It is some sort of Sonic something!

Rebecca and David's Wedding- The Reception
Rebecca and David's Reception was that night at Sundance. The reception started at 6:30, but mom wanted us there at 5:30 for pictures. By the time we got home from the Temple and packed some bags, we didn't have too much time. We were on the road by 3:00 to go to Sundance. Luckily I woke up feeling so much better. I wasn't totally feeling myself, but I was so happy I was able to spend some time with Rebecca at the Temple before and after the ceremony. I wasn't achy anymore and I had more energy, I was so excited my many prayers got answered. Seriously the day went so fast. We got to Sundance and checked into our room. It felt like we just got there and I was rushing the kids to get dressed again. I quickly pressed what they were wearing that morning for pictures this afternoon. They had rented the Redford Room for their reception. Rebecca had a flower girl but my moms friends Susan, Sandy, and Elaine were there all day decorating the room. My mom and Susan had been shopping for stuff the few weeks earlier and Rebecca and I took some trees up to Sundance that we had made and a whole bunch of stumps and and branches (on Wednesday). The place was transformed and looked incredible. Rebecca had rented tables, chairs, and these cool lantern things from Alpine Rental. The flower lady did the candles and flowers, and Susan, Sandy, and Elaine did everything else. Seriously, it looked amazing. Susan Rampton is so talented. My pictures really don't do it justice. At the reception Rebecca had rented a photo booth that was super fun. There was a buffet with a yummy sallad, Mahi Mahi, and Butternut Squash Ravioli. The food was delicious. I heard the cake was amazing, but unfortunately I didn't get any of that. I was busy talking to people and trying to talk to people mom was worried wouldn't know anyone. The night went so fast. It was like a blur, but a fun blur!
The ladies that made this happen. Elaine, Mom, Sandy, and Susan!
Centerpieces with the Burlap
The room, this picture doesn't do it justice!
Me and my sis!
Cruz being shy!
The cute couple
The boys at the picture and jordan almond table
Trying to get a group shot of all the Raddon/Frye girls
Heather, David's sister, whom I was very good friends with in Israel. I went to her mission farewell in Provo at her parents house but lost touch with her. She got married after her mission and was in California and then Boston so I never saw her at any Israel reunions. Small world! And, I did like most of the girls on the Israel program, but she was one of my favs!
Family picture!
Alegra became good friends with Kate, David's brothers daughter (Kate is almost 3)
The girls and little Cruzy's head, love it!
Cute picture of Isla and Cruz
Even cuter picture!
Looking down where you walked in to the reception (after the sign in table right at the doors).
The room
Love this picture of dad and Rebecca that was in focus and with David and Rebecca out of focus.
Isla and Alegra, buds!
My bud!
The pretty tables
Daddy feeding Lexi. We were both busy the entire night but Shawn was so good to come and get Lexi and take turns. We brought our stroller in and that was a super smart thing and a total help, especially near the end of the night, Lexi finally gave up and went to sleep about 9:00 p.m. We all stayed to help clean up, even Alegra and Cruz!
The Centerpieces
Ezra giving Alegra the tummy pump. He really took to Alegra
The food was great, they even had a kid section with chicken fingers and mashed potatoes.
Dancing was a big hit. I wish I would have taken a time out to dance with my own kids more.
Cutting the cake. The cake was good (from what I hear). I didn't get too many desserts because I was busy talking.
FIRST DANCE, MISSED DAD!!!!
K Carpenter, basically our second mom, love her and that she is still a good support to my mom.
They all looked FABULOUS!
Georgia and Macy decorated the car for me. Shawn had tied soda cans to strings and we had brought window markers. I didn't actually see it in person because it was raining pretty hard when Dave and Rebecca left! For kind of a rainy day though, we lucked out. No rain during pictures at the Temple. Rain in between, no rain during pictures before reception, just rain near the end of the reception.
Tired kiddos in our room at Sundance. Cruz is rolled up in the covers next to Alegra. It was a pretty sweet room, perfect for kiddos and a pack and play, too bad we didn't hang out there too much. We got up and ate breakfast at Sundance and then packed up to head home. Walty got baptized on Saturday (the day after the wedding) at 4:00, so we had to get home.
Rebecca and Dave packed up their Uhaul on Saturday afternoon with Rebecca's stuff and hit the road at about 4:00 for Cali. I got emotional thinking about saying goodbye to my sister. I was really sad. It has been fun having her close these past few years. I know they are off on a great adventure, I was just sad to see her go so soon. They had to get to Cali by Sunday to unload and return the truck and get on an early morning flight to Kauai. Fun Honeymoon!
She will always be my little sis, Love her!
