Well, we had a wonderful 2012. Our greatest blessing or miracle this year for sure would be our beautiful daughter Alexis Lucille Frye. We are so grateful for her birth and the last 9 months. We are also so very blessed for our big 5 year old Cruz and our big 3 year old Alegra. I can't believe how big they are getting, how much they are learning, how smart they are getting, and how much LOVE our hearts can hold for each of them. They truly are our best miracles/blessings! Thank you for being so good to us 2012! We look forward to a wonderful and amazing 2013!!!

New Year's Eve Day
We went to the trampoline place in Draper called Airborne today. It was pretty fun! The kids were kind of getting on each others nerves prior so it was nice to get some energy out. Mia, Sasha, Isla, Cruz, Alegra, Lexi (she watched), Macy, Walt, Grant, and Owen (Grant's friend) all joined.
We had a pretty mellow night. The kids were pretty pooped from playing all day with the girls Mia, Sasha, and Isla and going to the trampoline place. Shawn worked all day and came home pretty much around normal time. We ended up picking up Costa Vida and bringing it over to Grammy's house for dinner for all tonight. We helped Grammy take the ornaments off the tree and take her tree down. The kids continued to have fun and play. We brought them home around 8:00ish and they were down in about 2 seconds!

RIP Yeti
I previously posted about Yeti. He ended up passing away in Marc and Cat's bed early Friday morning at home. They were going to take him in Friday to put him down. We will miss you Yeti!

We Love High Note!
We went to High Note last night! We love to eat there! We like the coconut chicken curry soup (Tom Ka Kay), Chicken Massman, and Tofu Pad Thai!!!
Blog taking a break
So after some deliberation, I think we are not going to keep the blog going. If you follow the blog and want to keep current on our activities I do post pictures to instagram frequently.
Fort Time
Mia and Sasha came over yesterday to play while Isla was at Grammy's taking a nap. The kids had a fun time building a huge fort!
Vitamix Blender
We got a Vitamix Blender from the Frye's this Christmas and Shawn has loved trying new recipes, both smoothies and soups. We have been the happy recipients of his efforts! He made a really yummy soup with grilled cheese for lunch yesterday. I could get used to this!:)
Lego Ninjago Great Devourer
Cruz got the Lego Ninjago Great Devourer for Christmas this year from Santa. I have to hand it to him. He has shown some constraint this year. Last year he had to build whatever he got immediately in one day. This year he has taken about a half hour to an hour each day and worked. He would have building dates with dad after dinner. Cruz did most of it himself, he would just need some help on a few parts. He finished today and it very proud of himself!!!

One Last Get Together
My mom had ordered Lou Malnatis Pizza from Chicago for a get together one night. We were all able to meet up at Russ and Ali's house tonight. Rich and Katie and the their kids are probably taking off back to California Monday morning and Ryan and Naomi fly out tomorrow for Ryan to play several shows in the next 3 day stretch, so we all got together tonight. The company was excellent, the pizza delicious, and the time together was unforgettable.

SKI DAY
We had a family ski day today (except Lexi :)). Cruz was in an all day ski lesson at Snowbird and Alegra was in her first half day ski lesson at Snowbird. Their cousins Mia, Sasha, and Isla were taking lessons today to so it was fun they were all in together. They weren't all in the same classes but they did see each other out on the hill. My mom offered to watch Lexi so Shawn and I could ski the morning together. It was fun. Rebecca, Ryan and Naomi were snowboarding too, so we all hung together. We basically stayed on the tram, but it was awesome snow. We did have to deal with windy, snowy conditions, but I think that is also what was helping make the snow so could, fresh pow pow! We picked up Isla and Alegra at lunch time and grabbed a quick bite before I took the 2 girls down. I needed to get back to feed Lexi. The rest of the gang skied some more and then picked up Cruz, Mia, and Sasha at 3:00. We all had a great day up on the hill! Shawn got this one photo of Cruzy at his ski lesson!
YETI
Yeti, Marc and Cat's dog, has not been doing well this past week. Marc called Shawn about 5 days ago and told him he was taking Yeti in to the Vet. Yeti has been progressively getting worse this past week. The doctors are still not totally sure what he has, but he isn't doing to great. Marc has been keeping Shawn in the loop on his progress thru phone calls. Marc and Cat were picking Yeti up from one of the doctors tonight and brought him by our house so we could see him and most likely say goodbye. Matt and Laynee stopped by so they could see Yeti too. Shawn was like a second dad to Yeti. Before me and the kids came around he did a lot of camping trips and fun things with him. We have wonderful memories of Yeti. I took some pictures of Shawn with him and the kids with him just in case we don't see him again. :(
