Volunteering In Kindergarten

I volunteer in Cruz's class once a month. Mrs. Oakeson asks for you to come the entire Kindergarten time and then she gives you things to help her with while you are there. Shawn missed Parent Teacher Conference due to a work trip so he was able to work it out with his schedule to go in today for my volunteer time. I think he had fun seeing Cruz in action. The only bummer was that Mrs. Oakeson was absent today so her student teacher was in charge. I did want him to be able to meet her and have her give him an update on Cruz. She is really good about doing that when you go in. Oh well!
