We had a wonderful Christmas. Actually, we weren't even up all that early either. Cruz woke up at his normal time, about 7:30ish. Lexi had gotten up to eat at 6:00 a.m., but she usually goes back to bed after her early morning feeding, and she did today. Alegra woke up when Lexi woke up and said she wasn't feeling good. The "magic" Shawn got her to go back to bed and we finally woke her up around 8:15ish because Cruz could not wait any more. Cruz totally got opening presents this year, Alegra, not so much. We are blessed to be able to get the kids gifts and share in the blessing of giving. Cruz got the desired Lego Ninjago set from Santa. Shawn and I got him these cool Lego organizing sets. Grandpa and Grandma Frye got him the Hot Wheels Wall Track Power Tower, which he really wanted. Grammy got him an RV snow machine (which he also really wanted) and a Pogo stick. The Wilkens gave Cruz a cool Lego keychain, a book about animals, and a neat looking doodle book. In Cruz's stocking he got a Lego Ninjago shirt, an Angry Birds winter Hat, and some candy. Shawn also got Cruz some camping stuff and a cute hat! Alegra got a puppet theater you stick in a door from Santa, animal puppets from mom and dad, a quilt from Grandpa and Grandma Frye, and a mini trampoline for the basement and a My Little Pony from Grammy. The Wilkens sent her a book that is personalized with her name in it and a fun Lego keychain. In Alegra's stocking she had a Snowbird shirt, which she really wanted, a Hello Kitty microphone, and some candy. Dad also got her a cute hat! Lexi got a little rattle doll from us, a cute outfit from Grandpa and Grandma Frye, and a chair to match her brother and sister from Grammy. The Wilkens sent her a nice picture from with all her stats from her birth. We are so blessed to have these 3 kiddos in our life. I love them so much. I hope they have wonderful memories of Christmas, but more than the toys I hope they can learn and grow and understand the True Meaning of Christmas and how important it is to give and share with other people.
