Alegra and I had a blast going into Cruz's class for his Valentines Day Party. I was kind of put in charge so we just had 6 stations. I called 5 other moms to come and help.
STATIONS:
1) coloring, dot to dot, and guessing candy in a bag station (I ran this one)
2) cookie decoration station, the PTA provided cookies and Juliet brought more frosting, some sprinkles and juice boxes. They decorated and ate. Juliet, Davis' mom, ran that station.
3) Passing out the Valentines-Mike Pittman ran that station with the help of Mrs. Oakeson and Miss Santamaria, the student teacher.
4) Valentine Bingo, Ellie's mom ran that one
5) Pin the arrow on the heart, Jonah's mom ran that one
6) A Valentines Day story, read by Amy Farnsworth, Jake's mom
The kids had fun and Alegra really enjoyed being there!
We picked up Lexi from Grammy's house and then came home and Cruz sorted his loot. Dad came home kind of early from work (5:20ish) and it was fun to have him around. We made Heart shaped Pizza and Dad wrote the sweets poems to each of us. Cupid dropped off a gift for each of the kids too. Some magnetic gears for Lexi (Cruz and Alegra like them a lot), a princess dress up dress for Alegra, and an Octopus that Cruz saw in Turks and Caicos that he wanted really bad. Dad brought some cupcakes home with him from a cupcake place place near his work and 2 balloons for the kids. It was really such a fun and special day!
Ended with a bath for Dad, Lexi, Cruz, and Alegra, which is pretty much tradition every other night, and they love it!
This last picture was one of the Valentines Cruz got from a classmate (Paige actually). I thought it was really cute. It was a bag of Swedish fish with a sign that reads "I am o-fish-ally glad we are in class together"
